KBOO PEOPLE AND OTHER IN PORTLAND AND TO ALL THOSE WHO SUPPORT PROGRESSIVE RADIO. LYNN FITCH WENT ON THE AIR THIS MORNING AND WAS AGAIN DISPARAGING OF KBOO AS IT NOW EXISTS. SHE HAS ALSO PUT A SURVEY ON THE KBOO WEBPAGE ASKING PEOPLE TO STATE THEIR OPINION ON HAVING THOM HARTMAN ON THE STATION. THE ISSUE IS NOT THOM HARTMAN, BUT RATHER TWOFOLD AT THE VERY LEAST. THE BIG ISSUE IS THAT KBOO NOW HAS A STATION MANAGER, WHO REFERS TO HERSELF AS THE STATION NAVIGATOR AS WELL AS OTHER SELF DELUSIONAL TITLES AS SHE TRIES TO SQUASH EVERYTHING THAT KBOO HAS EVER STOOD FOR. SECOND, IF HER QUEST TO HAVE THOM ON EVERY WEEKDAY AFTERNOON FOR 3 HOURS, IT WOULD WIPE OUT TWO OF THE STATIONS DIVERSE OFFERINGS -- LATINO AND AFRICAN MUSIC -- SHAME

  Today, I had to play the Station Manager's announcement that we just don't have any Progressive Talk Radio in Portland, so why don't we wipe out 12 hours of Local Programming and put that East Coast show, Thom Hartman on for 15 hours per week... I played this as... As... Wait for it...
  
  As intro to KBOO's Home-Brew Monday Morning Talk Radio Show...
  I had to watch our Talk Radio Host listen to our Station Manager talk as if he didn't exist, as intro to his show.
  
  Yay!!! What a Classy Joint we all work for!!!

Thank comrade Wieder for this important update on the Evil actions of that Evil Fitch and her Evilness.  We also thank him for his liberal use of CAPS in the CAUSE.

Now we suggest Comrade Wieder take a Valium, maybe with a few shots of vodka.
